I hope to test fit other noses in the next week or so, that will determine what I can offer. The fittings will probably be an option, but i dunno if they will affect the price or not.

hey, yeah sorry its taken so long...but im still workin on it...only 2 things left before i can start selling,

1) waiting for LLC papaers to go through, had to change the name once so that delayed it

2) i need to measure my exact fastener mounting points and add that as a precut option for the ms gtc version.

I plan on calling the company that is doing the LLC papers and see whats the hold up.

I would be interested as well...

I do need to do something by summer time though, and I would rather pay someone to do the fabrication than do it myself as I have limited time and much fabrication, removal, repair and installation to do to many other areas of the car.

I think you will have to make both legs (side pieces) flush with the bracket above. I see that the left side is sticking out towards the front. This would get in the way of a front mount intercooler (at least the one I'm using). I don't think it would be a problem for anyone upgrading their oil coolers to the ones like Gotham Racing is offering. Can always drill holes for the oil lines. I've been thinking of making something like this myself. I was thinking of a 2 piece under panel though, that would cover the entire under belly in order to have smoother airflow. If you ever get the pleasure of inspecting the under belly of a SLR McLaren or a Porsche GT, you will see what I mean.

umm what? my radiator ducting is not made for a front mount intercooler system?

it can be altered for a fmount sytem, but never was intended for one.

>>If you ever get the pleasure of inspecting the under belly of a SLR McLaren or a Porsche GT, you will see what I mean.

if i ever get the pleasure of having their r&D budget then ill make a full underpanel too :-)
hehehe ;-)

trust me, i have seen many underpanels and studied a lot and got a lot of input on aero from many people much smarter than I am (like gooroo), I am trying to do what is economically feesable for me and for 80% of the poeple who want what I am making.. ...now with that said, I am totoaly with you, if I did have a cobillion dollars and the free time to do it, i would make a full on underbody/tunel sytem out of crazy composite....but reality bites :-)

Bringing this back. Has anything happened?? If not do you have the templates?? I could always make my own. Or if you don't have any measurements, what size sheet and thickness did you use, for the underbelly pan?? Thanks.

pretty sure that the dimples actually decrease drag quite a bit... its just like the dimples on a golf ball. racing teams don't use it because, just like thousands of other bits of technology, its probably been banned under the "must have a flat under-tray" clause that some leagues have. it would take a rediculous amount of engineering to get it right though, definitely not worth the time.

any idea if your design would fit with a Sanai Works front bumper?

that's the best picture i can find of it... without looking too hard seems like the spliter (which i guess is what i was wondering about as well as the ducting is very similar in appearance at least, to what i think you're making.

interesting, it looks like the bottom of that one is modeled after the mazda GTC nose, so it look slike my undertray/splitter would fit it well.

cost?

Damian, can you give me a rough idea of cost for the undertray? I have a WiseSports front bumper, which looks similar to the C-west one.

Thanks,

Adrian

hey adrian, we will have the info on up on our website soon ( http://2dperformance.com/ )

we are working out different options right now and figuring out the best way to ship them, but my main goal was having the undertray/splitter be under the $500 mark as all the ones I looked at when I wanted to buy one were 800 to 1500, and some were just and undertray or just a splitter, not both.

Quick Reply: interest in custom radiator ducting and undertray/front splitter combo?
