Intercooler Question..a quickie

Any Harm in changing the stock intercooler for an aftermarket one , but placing it in the STOCK location??? Basically I have a medium size intercooler at my disposal and want to install it in the stock location ( to retain the sleeper look)
Battery has been relocated already!

There are many aftermarket intercoolers that mount in the stock location. Many prefer it to maintain good airflow to the radiator.

Well the IC i have available isn't exactly purpose built for the rx in stock mount location. It's definitely larger than the stock and my thinking is to use the stock location to reduce the amt of piping as well as retain airflow to the rad!

As long as you can duct air to to it, its not a problem. However, a larger aftermarket IC in the stock location without a duct is worse than the stock IC with the stock duct.
