Intercooler question

I am planning to purchase a intercooler similar to the ones in the picture. I noticed that the factory air pump is gone. Is it necessary to remove the airpump? If so then what size of a belt would I need after the removal? Thanks in advance.

Hmmmm I take it that the stock air duct wont do no good then. Maybe I will focus on the FMIC. As for the air pump removal, whats all involved? What size of a belt do I need?

If you want to run that intercooler, you might have to eliminate the air pump, because the hot side pipe comes in contact with the AP feed pipe. You have the find an aftermarket duct solution because the stock duct is useless with that core.

As far as the belt size, you're better off doing it the right way and upgrading to a pulley kit that eliminates the air pump with the correct belt and pulleys. I have a Greddy pulley kit for sale for cheap. Let me know if you're interested.
