Intercooler piping diameter question

I know that bigger piping obviously flows better but i also read that everytime there is a transition in the piping you lose 1 psi or so. So would it be worth it to get the bigger piping at the cost of the lost boost? Also do 90 degree bends effect boost? I am going to have to run at least 2 of these also.

thanks guys

90 degree bends will definately affect airflow which will hurt psi
