intercooler air duct the poor mans way

made this to help get air into the stock intercooler air duct. i put sticky foam behind the patches on the stock air duct to help make it as air tight as possable. feels like it works esspecially on the highway.

Better'n my solution! I did a cardboard mock-up of a duct, then I ended up using it for an entire summer ^_^. When my cardboard duct's structural integrity failed at the track, I found a big thick cardboard box that had been tossed and I built a new duct and went back out. One of these days I'll build one out of metal or fiberglass or something... But the ghetto fabulous duct works amazingly well

Nice work. I have a similar alum front extension, but just bottom and sides. I like the Mad-max pop rivit look.

Now adapt duct to a real SMIC. OEM is tiny .... smaller than a 160 hp saab IC, and has lots of pressure drop, and has been proven almost useless when doing DE events.

I did something like that when I first bought the car and was still running the OEM IC. At first it was covered by the Racing Beat IC->airbox fresh air duct (I'll sell it if anyone wants it.)

Anyway, your craftsmanship was better than mine.
