Exclamation Intake and Intercooler Setups

While replacing a radiator fan i have decided to put on a new intake and larger intercooler. I was just wondering what heppens to all the black platic piping that is connected to the stock airbox and if there is any other types of piping I am going to need when getting a new intake. Also, what type of intake would be a good buy? I just want to hear from people that have done it and have any suggestions. i also want to put on a larger intercooler but I don't want to do a front mount. I really wanto to keep it looking stock and not have people know I am going ot be working on it. If I do go for larger stock mount, do I have to relocate the battery. Thanks guys, people seem to be really helpfull on this site.

Exclamation Intercooler setup!!!!!

I just need to know if anyone can tell me an intercooler that doesn't involve battery relocation or how you front mount it? I am asking about the front mount because it seems the radiator would be in the way.

Still havent discovered that search button, huh?

Edit: Why the hell do you have two threads on the same subject? Both of your questions could be easily answered with 2 seconds of searching.

Yeah, and if you actually use the search function and read what comes up, you will learn the pros and cons of different setups. There's way too much info out there on both intakes and intercoolers for this one thread to be any useful. Have you even started at www.fd3s.net and read through the intake and intercooler sections?

You guys sure can be harsh.

:[

I understand how repeatativeness can get annoying when the same topic is covered many times, but man, with the time it takes you to say "Search for it idiot."...since it's obvious you know better than him where to find the information, you COULD post a link to a thread related to his questions, instead of bashing every single new FD owner that has a simple, yet repeatative question.

That's a main reason why many people have left rx7club, is because some of you guys are just plain harsh, and rude.

Just MY 2 cents.

It really wouldnt be a big deal. I have helped numerous people with repeatitive questions. Its just this guy here has asked so many stupid questions in such a short amount of time...And each time he has been told to search...By many different people...

As far as people leaving...Thats great! Keeps the Bs down.

Poor excuse for you being lazy. There is a wealth of information available at your fingertips, use it. The SEARCH function would be more useful if there weren't so many redundant threads clogging things up!

As for the intake i put on a Greddy Airink intake and all i have to do was cut some of the black hoses to fit into place for the new intake, if you want to get a different intercooler best thing would be the V-Mount if you dont want it noticed a whole lot, if you happen to get a front mount you can always buy a mini battery kit and that should all fit and for the radiator i was told that it would need to be tilted up-right, i still have the stock intercooler so i haven't done it all YET.
