Intake air themosensor
What is an Intake air themosensor ? The check engine light comes on once in a while for a short time. Sometimes the add coolant light will come on as well. The garage told me that they got a code 11 which is related to the Intake air themosensor. How can I check/replace it? Where do I find it as well.
Thanks in advance.

The sensor is screwed in to the underside of the upper intake manifold .The connector is blue . Look under there with a mirror from the firewall side . I think you can change it with out removing the manifold .

there's no way to replace it without taking off the manifold unless you have a single turbo setup with nothing under the uim.
Do you not want to take the manifold off because of all the hoses? It's really not that bad but the sensor may cost you.
Also you could just leave that sensor on there and put a new one on the elbow and splice some wire into the stock blue connector to get it to reach. This way you don't have to take off the uim and your readings will be more accurate to the ecu without heatsoak.
