This isn't regarding you, but even if an accident isn't your fault, your insurance will regard you as a high risk driver and add a little more to your premium. Yes, insurance companies can shaft you all you want because the law allows them to since insurance is manditory.
i've been paying $2000/year even before i got into both accidents. only 1 has been reported to the insurance agency (the other was just a minor bumper incident i fixed that myself and paid for it with money). my insurance rates have not increased since i got my car.

2200 a year for full coverage on both my 93 4runner sr5 and my 93 touring rx-7. I have 1 ticket and I am 29. The rate will drop 400 bucks a year when i turn 30 and another 400 when my last speeding ticket drops off in may of 2003. So as long as I can stay clean I will have the serious hook up. I have seen lower quotes but State Farm has always paid claims out to my satisfaction. I have had Both USAA and Geico when I was in the Military and they both suck ***. As a matter of fact the body shop I deal with said they both are the worse to deal with and always try to screw the customer. By Screw then I mean not replace parts that can be fixed with Bondo and for parts not repairable using knock off parts instead of OEM parts to save money. I cant see saving a few hundred bucks a year worth the lower satisfaction rate of using an insurance company like Geico or USAA. Allstate and State Farm seem to be decent and I am sure there are other ones out there as well. I will stick with State Farm.

How does a person get the cheapest insurance possible
I have one ticket for getting in a minor accident and 1 more for being stuck 1 foot into an intersection because of traffic...ohh my gaaaay!
I am 18
Should I put the title of the car under my parents name and also put them as the primary drivers and me the secondary?
right now they have my car registered as the company car and I think that is more expensive
they are a bit slow and they are going to make me pay for the insurance soon so how do I get it to be the cheapest possible
thanks
