installing stock dual oil cooler setup - already searched

Well, i found a R1 stock dual oil cooler setup to install in my touring model FD. I've been looking around and have a couple quick questions about the install.

1) Do i need a different hose to connect from the engine block fitting to the long hard line that runs to the passenger's side cooler? I've heard that these are different parts and, as my FD is my daily driver, i dont want to get in there and find that they won't match up.

2) Are there any parts/washers that i need to replace that may be one-time use dealies (like crush washers)?

A quick list of what i have so you guys know what i'm talking about:

driver's side oil cooler
passenger's side oil cooler
two hard lines w/ short lengths of rubber hose and fittings
passenger's side duct
passenger's side mounting brackets
(don't know if i have the thermostats yet, but i will for the install)

Shouldn't this be a direct swap-in?

Like i said, i've searched, but haven't found anything that directly addresses my situation. Thanks.

It's a direct swap in. The t-stat is mounted inside the driver's side cooler.

I would get new crush washers for the cooler line connections to the block and oil filter pedestal. Mine needed to be replaced when I upgraded to aftermarket coolers.

I did this not so long ago and it sounds like you have everything you need, although I can't picture the end of the hardline that connects to the block. If you post a pic I can tell you if its what I used.

I've heard that the clips that hold the lines to the oil coolers should be replaced, as well as the washer on the funky bolt that connects to the block. However, I didn't replace these when I did mine and haven't had any problems after many track sessions. The oil coolers and lines that I bought only had 30k miles on it though so they may have been in good shape.

I converted my base model to dual R1 coolers and the hose at the front of the block is different between the two; the R1 model is longer. The hardline from the oil filter pedastal is the same; no need to touch that one.

To do the R1 dual conversion you need the hose from the front cover, the dual hardlines that run across the front of the car and the passenger side cooler, brackets and duct.

Awesome. Thanks for the diagram, Damon...i've been looking for that. Even though it seems pretty intuitive as to what goes where, it's always nice to have a backup.

And here's the pic of all the stuff he sent. Even attached the old washers for me. I spent a couple of hours today straightening the fins and doing a quick cleaning and touching up of the exterior with some rattle can black paint...just to spiffy it up a bit. (Pic taken before i did any of that.) I think i have everything i'll need...

Edit: Dammit. Pics too large. I don't have time to pull it all back out, but i will here soon. But i seem to have everything you guys are talking about, so it's all good. Thanks!

I'm going to tackle this tomorrow. Does anyone know the type/size of the clips that are used? I lost mine like an idiot! =p Are they just normal clips I can pickup at a parts store? (I hope!)
