Installing an extra cooling fan need advice

I have installed a greddy FMIC and a new koyo radiator and like I thought I am running higher temps ( I do live in Texas) The temps are a little to high to my liking, even with the fans on I am running around 200-215 when I was running a constant 180 with the fans on. I have enough room in the front of the radiator to mount an additional electric fan to push air through. My questions is this: With the stock fans in the back pulling the air and the additional fan pushing the air am I to assume that this will bring a better cooling effect? Has anyone done this or am I total off?

Thanks

Yeah temps are in F, but I hate to see them go any higher. would this work or is it a waste of time and money?

should not need it ... be sure u seal all around the rad, so all air pulled thru it by fans is pulled in thru the front mouth.

No, I doubt that it would provide any benefit to add an additional radiator fan.

It appears that the problem you are having is the FMIC has restricted the amount of air getting to the radiator and/or the radiator is picking up heated air coming off the FMIC. Adding an additional radiator fan will not solve these problems.

You might just want to live with what you have for a while and monitor your temperatures closely. If the temps don't get any higher that the 215F you reported then you are fine. Such is life with an FMIC.

In the mean time start investigating ways to allow more ambient (outside) air to get to the radiator. Probably won't be easy.
