You could always get a different style seat where tops of the bolsters go forward more than out.

I've seen Momo seats in an FD that fit without any modification.

Some of the Cobra seats would probably also fit.

Momo would be a lot less expensive than a Cobra.
Thanks, I'll look into Momos, Supercup model looks ok and 22.4" in shoulder area vs. 23" of others'. I am also looking at the new Corbeau Club Sport and the FX1 Pro (needs modification also)...

I have the FX1 Pro seats and it fits in the FD with minor modification. I had to cut the rear legs and that's it. However, I am not as large as the other guys. I am 5-9 and 160lbs.

How about the door trim? Did the seat leave a dent? We are similar sizes so it's good to know that FX1 Pro fits but whichever seat I get I would like to get the matching but larger version passenger seat (eg. driver FX1 Pro, passenger FX1).

By the way did you use sliders or non-adjustable fitment?

I didn't have to cut the wings of the seat at all. It fits like a glove. Also, I used Corbeau double locking seat bracket with the FX1 Pro seats. It works great for me and I used my car for autocross and occasional track days. My car has the sunroof and it is a tight fit with the helmet.
