The pettit ECU is setup so all you have to do is call them with your list of mods and they'll send you a remapped chip for $50 (with or without Boost Cut). They just take the original ECU and socket the board so you can replace them just like RAM in a PC. I was running it on my single turbo also without any problems (10psi only). I just switched over to Apex'i PFC when I went to 1600cc inj. and 17psi.
One Note: I did feel that Idle was a bit too rich but they may have had a reason why they set up those maps so rich.

since the pettit ecu is using the stock boards.. does it still have the 3000 rpm hesitation?

or does it fix it like the apexi pfc?

The Petit does not fix the 3K hesitation.....the pfc is the only ecu known to absolutely resolve this problem.

lol, here we go again.

I have a Pettit ECU and no 3k hesitation. There is no concrete evidence that the 3k hesitation is caused by the ECU.

Most people agree that the FD's didn't roll off the assembly line with this problem and not all of them develop it after time. Therefore the stock ECU doesn't cause the 3k hesitation all by itself.

Changing to a Power FC may remove the problem in a "round about way".

the 3K hesitation *is really thought to be related to a fuel pump wiring*

if i am not mistaken, there is a thread regarding this that is only a few weeks old. i do not have it, but some say that it is due to the high and low settings vs. rpm range......read, and see if this cures your woes...

Dude, his profile says he owns a Hyndai Accent, and a 1987 at that. Supras are sweet cars. My girlfriends brother has a single turbo, and my two best friends also have single turbo supras. One of them has over 850rwhp, and it is fast. But I am the smart one who paid as much for my FD as they did for their turbo set ups. And with another $5k I will stretch them all out. Supras are nice, 95% of the owners are cocky, and there is no debate that the FD handles better, looks better, and doesn't try to pretend that it could put someone in the back
