do you have to send your ecu back to pettit every time you add another modification?

So, I wasted a Supra TT in my Geo Metro (it had an intake) - so what's your point. With your lame post, you're not exactly helping how other people feel about Supra owners - arrogant and they feel their cars are almighty. I'm taking it you're a little biased? Your fugly Supra needs to look into Weight Watchers tipping the scales at 3500+ lbs - looks like you travel with PT Barnum and Bailey circus

There are 2 different Pettit ecus, Limited and Unlimited. The Unlimited in question, you will never have to buy anymore chips or send it back to get remapped.

It could probably even run a single turbo but if you went single, you would want it to be tuned almost perfect which would require a different ecu.

i'm not calling you wrong, just asking for help. when i go to the pettit website it sounds like you have to upgrade to different levels of chips and i don't see anything about a completely unlimited ecu.

Hi,

The pettit website makes it sound like there are different levels of chips avaialable, truly it's one set of maps (the limited with a fuel cut, and the unlimited without) from what i've seen, they just make it rich enough to support a wide range of mods. I'm running the pettit in my car right now (have both unlimited and limited chips, noticed no difference between them) and am not sure if i like it, i have a high rpm hesitation and i think the car is running overly rich, however this is just speculation and I won't have an accurate idea until i test it with my 5gas analyser.

I had the Pettit UNLIMITED ecu before and i was running it with my TO4S at 15psi all day and have been running it for 2 years and never had a problem.

the Bomex kit and the paint job is very very nice on that supra but it's just given to the wrong hands.
