Installed my downpipe and Type S Bov today

Had the DP installed for 90 bucks...i installed the greddy type s bov

The DP is great, i hear turbo spool so much now...but the bov is not

Man that is the quietest bov i've ever heard...i am HOPING that i did something wrong on the installation...less than 3k rpm i wont even get a blow off...3k up is like the wussiest blow off ever...i have the spring all the way on loose too...can anyone shed some light on what the problem may be? I know you guys said the type s is quiet but it can't be this quiet. My only other mod is a downpipe...i was expecting a nice sharp snap when it blew off

Heheh the type-S is pretty quiet. If it is too loose u will leak boost, if it is tighter it'd be more quiet from what I was told. You should tighten it a little bit though.
Try aiming it in different directions to change how much sound you hear in the cockpit.
Damn I woulda installed that DP for u for less than $90

Do you feel the car pulling stronger with the DP? Or it just sounds louder and you can hear the turbos?

Sorry I don't know much about the BOV.

Wow $90 bucks for the dp install is cheap. Regarding the BOV, tighten the screw a little, also uninstall/reinstall the bov and see what happens. Same thing happen to my friend's type s, he removed and put it back in and now it's loud. My type S is loud.

Is the Greddy Type S supposed to be louder than the vented stock BOV? Because if it is than i'd be more than happy with it...however right now my stock BOV is 10x louder than the Greddy

The stock BOV is louder than the Type-S. If you wanted loud then you should have gone with one from HKS or Blitz. The GReddy is made to vent boost, not make cool noises.
