Installation of PC Commander

I just realized that I never posted pics of my install. I modified the stock ash tray to hold the PC Commander. The cover was modified to fit over top 1) slide lid to expose display, remove cover to access buttons.

Modification took a few hours with fine hacksaw blade and Dremel. Ashtray body needed massaging in corners to allow fit plus cutout for wire.

Lid required remove of slider (unscrews) and a shaving down of material so as to fit as original. Does not snap into place but I made it a secure fit using daps of black silicone on corners.

I never took photos during the build process. But as you can see final fit is OEM

Those are my wifes fingers

I've never seen that before. I agree with surf but thats still pretty damn cool. Im hoping to use a universal GPS mount that attaches to the AC vents.
