GA Installation Help Greddy profec b spec 2

I am working on installing a Greddy profec b spec 2. I have the Greddy instructions and have searched. I have two main concerns:

1) How to get a vacuum source to the controller into the cabin?

I figured that if I ran a normal vacuum line through the firewall, it would get kinked and not let pressure in.

The other option I though up was cutting the hard plastic line to my boost gauge and adding a tee. Does anyone know where you can get a tee that accepts 2 hard plastic lines and gives you a third that is a vacuum barb?

2) The boost solenoid has three ports, two are used. Do I need to plug the unused port? The kit came with no plug.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks.

taping into your boost controller line is the easiest way. you can get a "T" at pep boys. they also have vacuum caps for blocking off your one wastegate line

i would if i were you. i own the greddy profec spec 1 but i dont think i had 3 ports

No you do not need to plug the unused port and no, the vacuum line will not kink if you run it through the fire wall (properly) and if you are really worried you can do what I did which was drilling a new hole through the fire wall on the drivers side below the cruise control mechanism so that it would come out next to the fuse box inside the cabin.

I recommend drilling a new hole as it makes life much easier and should you ever install an AI system, it makes running the hard line to the intake tract very easy.

you can also drill a hole in your steering boot. this is what i did for my boost gauge. the hose will never pinch there and its relatively easy access.
