Installation guide for water temp and exhaust temp gauge

Was just wondering if there are any walkthroughs someone has made in the past about installing a:
exhaust gas temp guage and a water temp guage.

People have different opinions on its location. People say best choice is to get dual gauges and tap into each exhaust runner for each rotor. More economically, use a single gauge and tap either pre-turbo (manifold) or post-turbo (downpipe). Pre-turbo would be better accuracy but I suppose it is possible for the probe to break off into your turbos and chew them out (and its just harder to get at in general).
