well since aftermarket BOVs are gay I dont know much about them..but for the most part they have a flange that needs to be welded into a pipe either on the hotside or the coldside.....
then the BOV attaches its self to the flange.....
You do know that you can just vent the stock ACV (bov) to the atmosphere and get a nice whoosh sound...

I'm a hater of all things non-performance, but can't someone please just help this guy out?

I sure hope all you guys have the stock shift **** still, because it's functional.
S1lverbulletFD,
Do you have access to a digital camera? If so, take a picture of exactly what you bought so we can see if you have the flange or not.
If you don't have a flange, then you'll either need to locate one or install some hard IC piping then have a flanged welded on to that for mounting the BOV.

ok...... why dont you guys not say anything if you cant help him out? obviously you are never thinking of upgrading your cars to the point where you need an aftermarket BOV.... you just have nothing better to do than pick on someone that needs help with something. you guys are the ones that need help.
if you take a pic or something of what you bought, i can tell you how to mount it....

The stock BOV is meant for, well, stock performance. Once you start getting serious your stock one wont be able to handle it. I know people have shattered them pushing only 16psi. I guess the reason you dont here about it much is most people get a BOV with the fmic or vmic and block off the old one.
