Most likely you have air in the cooling system, you need to bleed you cooling system before your car overheats and kills the engine. I forget what the procedure was to fill the coolant but just fill top off you coolant and run the car at idle and make sure the fan comes and that the car doenst overheat, turn off the car and let the car cool down then check to see if the coolant needs to be topped off again.

Just out of curiousity, did you remember to plug the fans back in?

Definetely do what Rx7will said, that should take care of it, but just wanted to make sure you plugged them back in. If so, turn the A/C on and see if they turn on.

To get rid of the air in the system, take off the filler neck cap as well as the AST cap. Fill the filler neck with distilled water/water wetter mix. eventually, the AST will fill up and you need to put the cap back on it. Then top off the filler neck, put the cap back on and squeeze the upper and lower radiator hoses to try and get the air to rise to the filler neck. Take the cap off, top it off again and then crank the car will the filler neck cap off. When the thermostat opens, water will then flow through the system and any air in the engine will now be expelled through the filler neck. Wear some good gloves and put the cap on because it's going to be hot. Allow the car to fully warm up and just to be sure about your fan issue, let the car warm up to the point where the fans should come on. Let the car fully cool (3 hours or more) and top off the AST and filler neck levels. This should purge most of the air from your system. Over the next few days, check the coolant level in the morning... If the car is making a bubbling noise after you drive it, it means there is air in your system and you need to do this again. Also check for leaks and that your coolant tank is topped off as well. Good luck

So thats the full procedure, i was always too lazy to do it that way, i usually take the short cut.
