Input on rhd harnesses on Lhd fd?

I was wondering if I could take the jdm harnesses and remove the plastic weather cover and rerouted the connectors to where the USDM harness should be, can they be reversed?. Do you guys think the cables will be long enough. Or if you guys have any ideas. Other than buying USDM harnesses. I was stripping my jdm clim and the harnesses look identical except its on the opposite side.

You ONLY need to extend the water temp sensor everything else will reach just fine. BUT you will need to swap the connector in order to fit the USDM car . so keep the connector from your OEM harness There is a write up about it But i dont remember where

There's enough incompatibilities between the various rhd Japanese versions...usually complete body harness replacement is easier than dicking around checking multiple connectors, you will have some things not work, even if it plugs in - and that's before you get into rhd export cars and then further lhd complications.

If still undaunted and have lots of time, I'd make sure the version you're pulling apart is closest to your existing body/year -
