injector confusion (do primarys come in diffrent colors? )
so we found a faulty primary injector in my fd yesterday and have been looking for a new set of 550's but we discovered something intresting,
a while ago we took apart an FD 13b and found that it had retop injectors all the way around "primary and secondarys) we assumed that it had been modified to run 850's in the primary, i didnt want to use those in my motor as im running a stock ecu and well... ya,
however today we looked closer and noticed that these red's carry the same part number as my blue primarys
195500-2460
they are also visually IDENTICAL to my 550's and the primary rail from the disassembled motor does not seem to be modified to run the 850's.
so the question is.. is it possible that these red tops are infact 550's and not 850?
i know it gets confusing so here is the summry
disassembled cali spec motor = RED top primarys,
my motor = blue top primarys,
part numbers match, visually identical,
are they both 550's, can i mix and match,
thanks in advance for the help

Earliest production engines did have a different colour, light tan does ring a bell, got some around here somewhere.
