injector bushings along with the diffusers
injector bushings along with the diffusers
Does anybody know a site or that can help me out on how to put the bushings back in right. The shop that pulled my motor and installed it last put one diffuser in and it was broken(I know wtf). I have a bunch of bushings but not sure where they go. I have a good idea though. Can some some help me?
Do you have a Factory Service Mannual?
What injectors? Primary or secondary and are they out of the fuel distributor/rail or in it?
This is with the injectors already in the rail....
Primary - you install the diffuser with the tab aligned with notch in the housing, then put the insulator on top of the diffuser. lastly install o-ring onto the injector(some rubber grease will help).
Secondary - install diffuser then insulator and then the injector.
After you install the injectors and the fuel lines check for leakage befor you put everything back(trun the ignition to on position).
This is best I could do
Hope it helps

so where do the bushings go? Becuase I have a the buchings on the inj and then the o rings. Is this to much rubber? Becuase when I get ready to put the secondary fuel rail in , it wont go. So I guess take the rubber bushings out?

Hi Scrub you are not mistaken, I think from his 2nd post that 93redFD is trying to install the secondary rail with the injectors in it already onto the LIM, but 1 o-ring too many so it won't fit in right.
