Well, not my tastes anyway. There are *so* many other ways to mod/spend money on your FD, and you want to make it look like some civic/cavalier on the interior

 

Thats not rice, just because some people in civics do it doesn't mean its rice. So if its in bad taste its rice? or is it certain parts? Im sorry i didn't go to rice school so im not up to par on the current rice parts. I need to get my list mailed to me. So its not rice to just get white faces, or new black ones but if you go indiglow its rice.....ok gotcha

Why are you doing this 'mod?' Because it "looks cool," right? So, no functional value at all, and 'fixing' something that isn't broken.

As I have modded my FD over the last 6 yrs, I would usually ask myself "if i pull up next to a porsche or ferrari, will I feel embarrassed?"

Not too many of those cars running around with indiglow white faces gauges I'll bet......

 

Well wow you've modded your fd over the last 6 years that means you have good taste? NO. I just got a whole set of autometer lunar series guages for xmas and im going to make them match. Rice would be to have the lunar and just have a plain black cluster. all about those rice guages you talk about. Thats funny that all these members are ricers and all the people talking about how to install them are ricers, and the people that bought them in the for sale are ricers.

Well **** what car do you want to know about? The srd240, the kouki 240, the mkiv i just sold, or my fd? Or you can give me a call so that we can talk about your experince and knowledge with cars because im sure you went to school to learn about them. I've always just been about making my cars fast, reliable, and safe but for the first time im doing an interior mod.

 

Let me guess, you are, hmmmm, 18 yrs old? You don't know me at all, Mr. 21 posts, so I recommend keeping your trap shut. Nice screen name, too. Fits ya real well .

Hmm well if you had enough extra time on your hands and enough boredum to convert the srd240, the kouki 240, and the mkiv you just sold to FD guage clusters then you can bring them up since this is a 3rd Generation Rx-7 Forum. I don't think you did (with many reasons) so since you are talking about Indiglo guages for a 3rd Generation Rx-7 and only a 3rd Gen Rx-7 you can tell me which mods you have to the FD to make it fast, reliable, and safe. Even though you may want Indiglo which may be rice to some and maybe not to you, you don't have to have such a low self esteem and let every flame get to you. I see you're a newb so you can get used to it with reactions like you have shown. Ease up a little and things will be easier. Everything is going to be alrite. You can call me and I will help you mentally. Because that's what i go to school for

 

What happened why didn't you come up with a point instead of just a personal attack?! You were just proved wrong! And actually when it comes to cars and modding, and how they work etc, I would like to think i know just a tad bit more than most mainly because i went to school to learn about them for 2 years. Oh and at one of the best automotive schools in the country, and have been working at a speed shop here for the past year as a the head mechanic. And im 21

 

Well actually the only mods i have on my car is a greddy titanium exhaust, profec e01, super safc, and a koyo radiator. I had some extra cash and time so i decided to order them one week and install them. But yes i just sold my black supra which i had for two years. It was all bpu making 430whp. And for my 240 thats for sale, wow thats not "boredum" its taste. I can't belive your dissing the srd240. Wow pull the tampon out your ***, and have some more respect.

...nothing of which you just thought. We were talking about FD guage clusters and you brought in erroneous data so I stated that. Also, if you want to be smart and go to school for cars read a thing or two and learn that a dp on your car would be the best mod to start out with. Reliable, yes you have a radiator and boost controller. Wheres the ast, the fan mod, the dp... etc etc the list goes on Lead tech. haha its called ran out of money, you have to be kidding to think that my car is finished. And actually i have my boost controller from my supra, and im using it because when i installed my exhaust my boost would go up to 12psi which is common with people installing exhaust and intakes. the super safc was to tune so that i make sure i dont' run lean at higher boost levels. And the radiator is because, i get a wholesale price, and the summers here are brutal!

 

but whatever, i can't belive how your acting. I asked a simple question to get aftermarket guages (which you would have checked the links i displayed you would have understood that many people on these forums that drive bad *** rx7s have gone aftermarket with there clusters, and indiglo seems to be the most popular) but trying to diss the parts i bought saying well i would have got a dp first, and well this fan mod, and well this shifter is good....haha get a life. I can tell you right now i know more about cars than you ever will. When you can rebuild just about every motor out there give me a call, then we can talk because you are a waste of time.

and just because i have 21 post and am new to the forums, doesn't mean im new to cars. You should treat new forum members like **** just because they dont' have as many post as you.

Just for you trying to sound soo smart you're a dumbass, you know nothing about me, who i am, what im capable of or anything. Just Because i am younger then you doesn't mean anything, AT ALL. I know stuff about cars, not nearly as much as people like Jimlab or anyone but i can back myself up to a degree. And for rebuilding motors and crap. I knew someone that went to Penske's BMW school and he knew **** after 2 years and just because he spent all that money doesn't mean he can brag. You went to a top school for 2 years, did you tickle your *** and read books or actual hands on? I don't know and frankly i can give two *****. I can rebuild motors too buddy but that's not the discussion.

Hey man those are nice mods, But dp should have been before some of them, e-01 is a nice unit. It's a forum, a great forum, and it's always fun to throw some words around. Read the posts on here, more then 75% have arguements in them
