Slow can be a relative term. Looks like you're missing a screw on your blue valve cover.

It is unnecessary to hit the fans at 200F i agree but heatsoak is not a joke and i dont care how many people mock or say its pointless to do what i do, i rather be safe than sorry.

And since we drive FD's, EVERY concern and precaution counts.

i do the same thing. after every drive i always pop the hood and let the engine bay air out. while i wait for it to do that i just take care of small things around the house. like returning missed calls, feed my dog, or go grab a beer outta the fridge.

MY03-04 both had the tire issues, 03 the tranny issues, and MY06 had the oil consumptive issues. MY05 did not have any. Then from MY07-pres they (I think) have been pretty free of stupid problems that should have been solved at the factory. I REALLY looked into this in 2007 when I purchased my 05. It was the only year w/o problems and I could not afford a brand new 07.

OP, I really do agree with you on the looks of the Z32. I have always really loved those cars. I even like the interior from the drivers vantage point. It seems like all the instruments just wrap around the driver.

Actually til 08 they had tire feathering issues but they weren't as bad as the 03s and 04s. Tire feathering wasn't a really big issue for me though. I miss the car sometimes till I see the interiors.

Sounds like the general consensus on the Z32 is that they are decent cars stock but don't handle as well and likely never will due to weight, are not as fast, also have some maintenance issues, handle basic power mods better, are more difficult to work on, and some believe their interiors to be equal quality to the FD but not good compared to the nice FD interior layout. The are more of a GT and the FD is a pure sports car with few exceptions.

I'll add that they seem too expensive for a really nice one and probably would cost more to rebuild than an FD. Their exterior design is nice but is not aging as well as the FD which still looks very fresh in my opinion.
