today, i was filling up at a local gas station. I was running late for a meeting with my friends, so in a rush i left my gas cap (not the gas door, the little cap you unscrew) on top of the pump. When i reached, they told me the door was open and the cap was missing. I was like "oh ****", so i hurried back to the gas station and looked all over and couldnt find it

is it safe to run with out one for a while, and where can i purchase one ?

yes you are an idiot.

goto your local ricerzone or checker and buy a new one..... you can run w/o one as long as you dont get H2O in it.... so um yeah go buy one cuz **** condenses at night.
