That's why you always marry a reasonable wife...

 

I think she was reasonable until he blew his motor, had the new one street ported and BNR Stage 3s added, high flow cat, intercooler, ECU, BOV, etc all in one shot. The successive trips to KD Rotary to get everything straightened out, tuned, and dyno'd (I think he did 350+ at 15-16 psi) kind of overdid it.

My gf is quite fine with me having my FD, but if I drop a few additional thousand in one shot (plus my existing payments) I might become a free man real quick.

Or in my case, you own the FD before you meet the wife. My car is grandfathered in, and she can't do a damn thing about it She might gripe if I spend a couple $k on stuff, but she knows the rules.

I just bought a house and kept the FD....and the R1, and the waverunner, and the daily driver, and....

oh, I "inherited" David Hayes Roja wheels too

can't live without the FD....too much rice to smack

 

Well she's currently looking for a new job, and it looks like she may make an extra 35k/year. (She took a pay cut coming to her current job, and will move up to the next one). Methinks a diamond ring may pay big dividends
