I'm in the March 2003 Sport Compact Car!!!!

Someone mentioned that the march issue of sport compact car had a fd buying guide...so while waiting in line at pep boys i picked one up to read. on page 104 there was a table with much much the car's worth, how many were imported...and then i noticed they had used my website as a source. since my car doesn't have a body kit or any stickers or neon lights coming out from underneath i figure this is the closest i'll get to appearing in one of these magazines

you can read the article here

yea, it's a typo...it says 758 hp at wheels at 9500 rpm...i wished....the other thing i didn't like about the article was how it says it's "2.6 liter (or 1.3 if you want to use convention over logic)" WTF, the honda boys are trying to make themselves feel better or something?

SCC's displacement figures are correct, though somehow people still argue about it. Well, actually 1.3L is a good description of the 13B's displacement, but logic suggests that the displacement for 4-stroke piston engines should be halved. That would be much harder to explain in a short quip, however. Okay, so now I see your point -- 1.3L is the real displacement, it is just all those piston boyz that give inflated displacement numbers.

Well...they were completl f'ing wrong on the market value for the car.

I hated that entire article....I remember the Supra article..it was all bells and whistles...this one seemed like more of an after-thought.

I hate import magazines...SCC is alright..but sometimes they're just so full of shiat.

max, i understand what you mean about measuring the displacement of rotary vs. 4 stroke piston, it just seemed unnecessary for them to make that comment. it's like if I had a 250 NSR and you go around saying, yea, but it's really not a 250, it like a 500 cc bike. anyways, just thought it was an unnecesary jab at the rotary.

i read that too and the displacement and horsepower figures threw me off. I just figured that the horsepower, 758hp at 9500 rpm, was the XS car that they showed a picture for. I just kinda ignored the whole 2.6L part. Figured they didn't really know much about rotary engines.

Yeah cool, I didn't know that was your site. Not that it matters, but did they ask for your permission?
