I'm in love with my new car
congrats on the buy, I remember when I first got my first one about a year and a half ago, I was exactly the same, you couldn't pry me from the car with a pry bar. Like it's been stated, r1 lip, lowering springs, and then search for "reliability mods" and do those. You'll love the car.
I also suggest a car to drive daily. By far my best investment.
gratz on the purchase. man i miss boise idaho. lots of open long roads and the snow was perfect. keep it in the garage man! make room for it lol. be prepared to spend a ton of money. that is the biggest thing any new fd owner has to know....i knew the basics of the car but nothing more...bought it for 15 and now close into 10k of add ons and counting and ive only had the car april 09.... im hella broke but happy just being able to drive it once or twice a week lol.

Whats next? car wax? lol....
Congrats man on being an owner of such a fascinating car! Keep reading the forums they help alot! Just do what you're planning on doing and that will be great. Then from there you can do bigger and better things later on down the road
Nope. I've liked this car for a long time. Then when I started thinking about buying a new car to go with my truck that's always a project, I got curious to see if there were any RX7's around and how much they would cost. There are not very many of these in Idaho, and there is not even a nearby Mazda dealership. So, I searched online on Cars.com and Autotrader.com. There was only one within five hundred miles me, but it just happened to be close to my house, all stock, only 60K miles, and listed at a reasonable price. The owner had bought it online from an old guy in New Mexico. I guess I'm lucky, cuz this is probably the one that I would have wanted anyways, and it just happened to be the only one within a reasonable distance of me.
congratulations on your newly purchased FD! take good care of it man
so now that you're part of the addiction, i suggest you begin saving up best you can. the FD requires lots of attention and it will put your love to the test. dont worry too much tho, good care and responsibility for it, will lead to the car paying you back with euphoric pleasure on the road.

For real!.. since when is an OEM lip rice? Maybe you would consider 18's rice since FD's came with 16's?.... You make no sense man.

I also recommend a fire extinguisher. Consider it cheap insurance.
Lets try the pics again

and

You can see my other project in the background. I'm in for a big change. I'll be going from a carbureted 302 V8 4X4 ranger to the new FD.
