Well I've put nearly 40k on my DD Fd the past 3 years. Mods below in sig. Oh yea, I just hit 100k couple weeks ago with original engine. Damn there goes my car's value.

 

^^ OUR CARS HAD VALUE!!?!?!?!?!? LOL i daily mine, put a bunch of miles on it. at first i didnt want to drive it much, it had high miles i was gonna daily something else. But **** it? its a car, i built it to drive and im going to drive it.

 

yeah buddy, I daily drive mine.... for the moment anyway. Just had a new street ported motor and single turbo put in- with all the goodies. The car was nine months in the works so needless to say I am super excited to drive it and make up for lost time.
I drive the car all the time rain or shine, but it is mainly to break the motor in. I want to put 2000-2500 miles on the new motor before I start boosting. Then I will probably start driving the tahoe again.

 

I've put 10,000 on my current setup at 14ish psi. and I DD the car.

I had 18,000 on my last setup before I turned the boost controller up too far. My Bad Yo!

The guy I bought the car from blew the original motor (99,500miles) after he started to mod the hell out of it.

 

i bought my baby w/ 93,000 mi. and for the year ive owned her i put 10,000 mi. on her, and she is my DD. mods are on my sig.

 

i daily DD mine in the summer..no winter for mine!

I bought my FD halfway through my TII swap in the FC. The FD has since blown up (85Kmi.) making my newly boosted FC the DD. only crappy part is it's overboosting due to the custom 2.5" exhaust, and I don't have another car to drive so's I can fix that problem.

 

33k miles of daily driving over the last 4 years.....minus the 5 months down for the rebuild!

Most of those miles were with a downpipe, catback, intake, SMIC, and PFC.

Current mods are in signature....but the car will no longer be a daily driver after this week. The engine's fully broken in now and the daily driver purchased...

 

17k on my street port dd all the way, mods in prof. to lazy to type them as if there were a whole hell of a lot...but theres not

 

DD all the way even in the snow.. 93 FD, greddy t88 kit and 3.75in vband exhuast..

 

I kind of recently got my Fd. Been DD since then except when i did the street port. down for about less then a month. I had it for 6 months now and love DD it. Leave the boost low but when i see another turbo car crank it right back up to 14 psi and see if he want some. I had no problems with it since the rebiult. Drivin the Fd is like a reward EXCEPT when ur at the gas station fillin up for 50$!!!!

 

thats awesome. our 93 MPV can even get through the snow sometime here in NYC w/o spinning out like crazy.

 

Almost DD. They salt the roads here, so I will not drive in the slush or the nasty weather. Car chasis has ~165K miles, so what would be the point in "saving" it? That approach should be for a car with relatively low miles. The highlight of my day is a drive in the FD.

I put about 5k miles on her this year, and will drive it in nice weather next year also. It is very well maintained with many new parts. I will eventually swap the engine and go another 100K.

 

I DD my FD every day and it handles that duty just fine. I just get a parranoid when its sitting in the college parking lots and I hate stacking on all the freeway miles.

"HAHA" I used to be like that? Now I just DD my FD everywhere. My friends ask me not to long ago, why I didn't drive my beater cr. I told them I would, once my FD's engine blew.

I DD mine in the summer (long trips), my beater is a Neon, why pay out the *** to mod my 7 and then be seen in a Neon on a nice day? mods in sig

i used to DD mine...till it blew up...now im looking for a new car...and im gonna have to save up for a new motor for my FC...i blew 2 motors in 2 months...
