I followed Ryan's site above and it was a piece of cake. I have not been able to drive my car though yet due to my FMIC being a scam so I have to wait for my next FMIC to come in. As far as BOP's. Which one's are necessary? I have not installed the Double Throttle, AWS, EGR, etc.. All I have installed is the ACV BOP when I removed my air pump.

Is MVA motorsports a reliable shop to do the non seq mod? I'd do it myself but have been getting yelled at because I am spending more time messing with my car than driving it

Hey 7-sins,

I don't know why the idle is so rough... I tried adjusting the idle screw and the double idle screww but can't get it to even out... I took out a bunch of stuff on the intake and it could be anything... acv, aws, egr... I don't need any of that stuff in Hawaii... no emissions check and no cold weather... I highly advise doing this if you can... you'll breath easier yourself as the junk parts pile grows... if anybody has any ideas about my idle I would be grateful... car was idleing fine before the nonseq mod...

Doing the full conversion doesn't really have any benefit over the "poor man's method" The only thing that really helps is getting all of that crap out of there so you can actually diagnose a boost problem (only a handful of vacuum hoses left!! ) With the door being spot welded open or removed will improve some but don't know if it would be noticeable over the quicky method. Full conversion is for people who are believers in the NS mod and don't plan on going back. After reading about 10 posts a day on "secondary boost - 3 psi??" or "10-8-5 what is this?" I don't ever plan on going back.

Did the poor mans tonight... took me under an hour Very sweet. No more 10-8-5! I half assed it though... i still have to plug in the precontrol...and i need someone with a PFC commander so i can change my setting from sequential.. Getting mad lag up until 3800...but only because im not finished with it.

Rikki u got any more pics of your set up from the top? Like the area around the pressure tank...before n afters

For anybody interested, I'm running an intake, DP and catback and after doing the nonseq conversion I haven't run lean under WOT even doing 90mph in 3rd! I am running the stock ecu with boost and AF gauges... I'm well into the rich zone on the AF at WOT... I know I'll get punished by everybody on this, and I will buy the PowerFC when I can afford it, but right now things are great! just my $0.02....
