How hot are ignitors supposed to get,car has an E6k installed

 

The ignitors will get pretty darn hot, that's why it's mounted on the fender wall near some air flow. It is also surrounded in a gel of some sort to aid in cooling and what not, probably a shock resist also (I took my old one apart, talk about some small micro processors)
