Question igniton switch?

I am trying to install a Autometer water temperature gauge, the instruction says to hook one of the wires to a ignition switch, where is the ignition switch?
pics would be great.
Thanks

you need to find a switched ignition power source. one that is on when the key is on. the fuse box is right by the drivers left foot

just find a wire or a fuse that turns on when you want it to i.e your radio so your light in it comes on when you turn the key one click or you can hook it up to one that comes on with your acc. For my gauges i traced the headlight switch wires so my gauges come on with my lights. Easy way whould be to connect it to the fuses in your fuse box. search for a power source that you like or can find since some ppl dont have voltmeters and what ever your happy w/
