FL Ignition problem on my 93

Well got a 93 rx7 and having problems with starting the car. What it does is it wont start by the key ive checked all the fuses and everything seemed fined so i was assuming that the ignition switch was bad so i replaced it from mazda but still have the issue.Ive inspected the wires that leads to the starter and everything seems find and definately know that the car has plenty of ground. Now when i give the starter direct power it starts the car with no problem so really dont know what it is.The only thing i havent changed are relays is there any relays that I should Know about any help will sure be appereciated thanks !!!!!

Be more specific please. It won't start or the starter does not operate? If the starter does not operate, I would check the clutch switch.

I'm having a similar issue. The starter doesn't engage at all, not even a click. I checked the clutch switch with the PFC, replaced the ignition switch, disabled the alarm, the starter is brand new, and I checked the connection on the starter relay. I would have tested the starter relay for contiunity, but I couldn't get it out of the car.

My tires were rubbing the inner fender well and chafed the starter solenoid lead.

Worth a shot?
