ignition problem low rpm

Something is wrong with my car. I think it's the ignition system. Below 1500 rpm it sputters real bad as if it's not getting enough spark, at higher rpm it clears up and runs like a beast. I am not sure if my coil got wet or the spak plugs are worn? (I cleaned them recently though) I am in the process of installing an MSD box that it needs anyway, but it didn't have this problem a few days ago.

Anyone have an idea? I stongly suspect it's weak spark, and only happens below 1500 rpm. Tries to stall when you rev it a bit and let off abrubtly, and sometimes compensates itself with a high idle. Almost like it's slowly getting worse...

Thanks

I know I can ohm the wires to make sure they aren't open or have high resistance. What's the best way to check the coils? (I have a TurboII coil for leading and Magnecor wires)

the FSM shows how to check the coils, but they might be different for a Turbo II. i dont know you probably need to ask the turbo II guys what the proper way to check them is or find a FSM for the sec gens.
