can you not go by the colour coding on the wires? I have an Apexi turbo timer and it has a plug-in adapter loom so no need for cutting or splicing wires.

yeah, i did a pretty stupid thing. I ordered the harness for the turbo timer and when i went to install the turbo timer i noticed i didn't have the harness (i just moved to nj from pa, about 6 hour away and forgot it) and instead of having the harness mailed out to me i decided to soder it (spelling?) up. and once i started to get down into the wires and everything and cut off the connector for the greddy auto timer the diagrams didn't match up at all, not for my year or for any 7 for that matter. my wife is in the air force and i was on base at the auto hobby shop trying to get this done and i had someone else look at it (his profession in the air force is electrical, and he also has 3 different project cars going on while he hangs out at the shop all the time) anyways i had him look at it knowing he knows how to find the diagrams and wire everything up better then i would my self and he couldn't find them either. went threw the bases computers for every model for the fd and even looked into the fc's and couldn't find a diagram with 6 wires on it. only 4 and 5. so... lol like i said, if there is anyone out there that has had this same problem please post

thanks,
Snippy
