I just have experience doing wiring and making my own mounts so I'm sticking to a DIY if it saves me money lol.

Jordan, whoever you buy the coils from also offers the connectors/pins. They're usually approximately $5 per coil. I personally purchased from Eliott and Shawn at TurboSource, but many vendors offers these parts with the coils.

I was going to most likely purchase the diyautotune ign-1a coils. They do offer the connectors or pig tails. I was also reading that I needed a relay and a fuse ?

That's great, but keep in mind any failure in wiring the ignition can result in engine failure. Hence the Sake Bomb recommendation. They more or less pioneered this application, track tested it, and sell the whole bolt in plug in kit.

Does not hurt that they are an active forum vendor who actively produces NEW parts for our cars.

While I love SBG, they did not pioneer the IGN1A coil use on the RX7 . They commercialized the application, I'll give you that.

^agree with daniel^
I have this mod and there isn't much to it wiring wise so if you have the experience go for it. I have those connectors if you need them. There is a pretty detailed thread on this forum about wiring up this mod yourself, I'm sure you can find it with a google search as I can't remember what section it's in.

Hi, I was wondering if you could point me to where you purchased the parts for your kit. I can't see paying SBG $700 for coils. Thanks.

I ended up using ign-1a coils from pantera efi. They are legit!

i was also told all these ign-1a coils are all coming from the same factory, just are rebranded
