Consider the safety of these young women and your driving skills. I believe if the car got hit, your back seat passengers could sustain some serious injuries they wouldn't get in a larger car designed to carry more people. These are JDM seats and we're in a whole different market. There is no room "back there". Think "safety before ***". Drive defensively and carefully. Don't repeat the mistakes that teenagers have made since the 40's by crashing cars (for whatever reason) and killing, maiming, and destroying the lives of themselves and the passengers. It ain't worth it. I have seen and still do see this happen often because young people usually have no sense of history and they repeat this horrible history over and over.

Firstly I suspect your lying..

Secondly, you have no business endangering the life of 3 people nevermind 1. I owned an FD in HS ...

fd's are fast. . . that much is understood. i used to pile people in my crx when i was in hs. cant believe i used to do that. we had so many scares too. people runnin me off the road. . . me running myself off the road cause i couldnt pay attention due to the excess movement/noise.

keep it mysterious man. . . make em say, "when do 'I' get a ride?" if the chicks wanna double team you that badly. . . theyll ride on a lap. id rather have someone in a lap than back there. if youre like me. . . there IS no moving the seat up. . . my car is built for me. . . getting a look from a chic is just the icing on the cake. . .

paul

and besides. . . do you really want those stupid bitches ******* up your car? cause its about impossible to keep a carcrazed, fast -n- furious obsessed jesebelle (sp?) from doing something stupid in your car. you know. . . they want people to see them riding in this cool *** car. so they get all wild. . . ohhhhhhhhhh man, how i hate stupid girls. do me a favor and punch one of em in the face for me, will ya?

I completely agree with you there. There is nothing to be said that the seats are safe. I nor anyone else has stated that. The Japanese cars had the rear seats for cost reasons. Its cost *considerably more* to have a 2-seater car then a four seater in insurance, and I think some type of tax; I forget which.

Not only was it for only about a mile, but was at slower speeds. Haven't you even done something just to see if it was possible? The cop who pulled us over thought it was funny, but made us get a ride for the 'extras'

By 3 people i mean 3 people + the driver apposed to 1.

And you cant tell me that 1 mile bullshit because the reality is ifyou have the seats you will probably use them for more than 1 mile trips.. and the fact that you have 3 peers in the car makes your claim if slower speed irrelavant as studies have shown.

I do agree. With a backseat, you'd be much more likely to be carting around more people all the time. Which is safer? An extra on a person's lap in the passenger seat, or a person on a midget backseat? Seriously, actually asking here to someone who might have some data to back it up. My opinion is someone wedged on a lap isn't going to be as safe as someone in the back seat; even with the dangers of a rear collision. In nearly any collision, a lap rider will be ejected from the car.

When in doubt here is a simple mathmatical formula to help you make your decision:

2 seats + # of letters of the name on the title (your car so you dont cater others, others cater to you) + numberOflooks with a beautiful woman next to you - 4 seats*(numberOflooks while cruising in your tiny *** car with 3 of your closes "buds") + the anxiety factor for all the women waiting for days on end to ride in your rocket * the quality of *** you'll get by making them wait in line = wicked ***, wild rides, and plenty of wet women.

Leave it 2 - dont mess w/ perfection.

I think this equation takes the cake.

On topic though: Leave it 2 seater. I drove a first gen around with back seats for a while and there was no way anyone was sitting back there.

If you were in Los Angeles listening to Tom Leykis on 97.1FM you would learn that, even if you had rear seats, you would still only take one hot chick in the car, but only if we were going to your place for action. The others will definetely want you more.

the rx-7 wasn't meant to be a passenger vehicle, neither was the rotary engine made to carry lots of weight. A back seat is silly and would defy the reasons the rx-7 is such a great SPORTS car.

I only posted that pic because it seemed appropriate, not because it was new. And just because girls are evil doesn't make me like them any less.
