Alright you guys.

Sorry for never following up but I had troubles with the 7 this past weekend and I had to work on that insead of showing pics.

As far as scrubbing... scrubing helps a lot. You can see when you spray how fast it starts working. I left the remover on for about 30-60 sec at a time and scrubbed with a scotch pad.

As for paining... I dont think you should paint over the protectant. I think the protectant is a composite of waxes and lubricants. So you can use the remover to take the rust off instead of sanding and then use primer for a base, then your paint.

I will try and do the before and after this weekend when I have time.

Sorry again for lagging, I promise I am no lazy ***. Just a guy with a problematic FD.

i just used it on my chain, it doesnt work THAT fast and only some areas are coming off, but it does say use in 70f weather and its about <30 now here in nyc so i understand if its not working as hard as it should since different formulas have specific temperatures to help cure. like silicone..

Did you try scrubbing a little bit?
Try scrubbing with a damp scotch pad.

Wow, I'm sorry it didn't work for you! I dont understand how it worked so great for me. I mean the rust poured off of my brake rotors as soon as I sprayed.

Maybe the degree of rust on your chain is different??? Is there anything else you can try it on?

Did you try scrubbing like I said before???

Try one more time. This time use a lot of the remover and let it sit for over a min and then use the abbrasive side of a damp scotch pad.

Let me know your results.

Any grocery store. Its a pad to wash dishes, with one side as a spounge and the other side abbrasive. Doesn't have to be scotch name brand.
