Angry if the map sensor is off will you lose compression??

I was wondering if there is any lost of compression if the map sensor is loose or is malfunctioning??

No, compression isn't measured with the car running, so nothing from the map sensor is getting listened to anyway.

I don't think it causes a loss of compression. It definitely causes some other nasty symptoms.

It will make your car run like crap because you have no way of the ECU reading the vacuum or boost so it wont adjust the fuel or timing according.
