i think melliniumgt is the one who started the post over in stang.net here is a part of his post. you can tell me who is out of line

"I get so sick of these little Fast and the Furious import wanna be boys running around trying to talk sh$# about how the imports are soooo much better than american cars. I'm not going to mention any names but a certain RX7 owner that posted on another thread in here needs to wake up. I mean I'd love to see things from his point of view but I'm not sure I can get my head that far up my a$$. Don't get me wrong, I like the Supra's and the RX7, hell mazda is owned by Ford so talking Sh#$ about Ford vehicles is kind of an oxymoron. But I have yet to meet a Stock TT RX7 or TT Supra that could pull better than 14.2 in the 1/4 mile. My 00 GT was pulling 14.0 bone stock,( for you rice rocket boys that means naturally aspirated). But if the $40K Supra and RX7 are so bad a$$ then how could they get burned by a stock $20K non turbo car? I'm sorry, I know you can make any car fast, it's like someone once said "you can make a pinto super fast but at the end of the day it's still a pinto. As for the Stangs being weak stock, high 13's bone stock sounds pretty strong to me. And for a Supra to be running 7's in the 1/4 is respectable, but (correct me if I'm wrong ) isn't 7's about average for PRO 5.0 drag racing? Last time I checked John Force wasn't an import. Pesonally I've seen a TT Cobra embarass a heavily modded TT Supra on the interstate. But of course what do I know I've only seen the Fast and the Furious twice so I couldn't possibly know anything about the world of drag racing and fast cars. Anyways, I'm done ranting and raving so I'll let all the ricer boys that read these threads trying to learn something new, post thier comments and make bigger a$$es out of themselves."

i think 94t-rex was more respectful to mustang owners then they were to import owners.

I like th eline abouta Pinto is still a Pinto at the end of the day. You know, the Mustang was built on the Pinto chassis for a few years Or is it not politically correct to call a Mustang II a Mustang?

I love how the guy said that power to weight means "crap" to him (in the "Import Kills" thread. He obviously thinks that, due to the fact that his stock mustang GT does 13.8 (I cant stop laughing) and the RX7 and supra cant break 14.2.

Melenium GT is obviously deluded. I say quite freaking helping morons like that out by telling him what are cars are capable of. That way the 15 idiots driving stock GT rustangs who think they are the fastest thing on earth I see every day will keep trying to beat me. I love laying the smack down on 95% of the stangs I've met. I'm not dumb enough to say I can beat any stang (because I have been beat before by a few stangs, some very nice rides at that). So all those idiots doubting are cars should keep it up. I love the look on thier faces when I put 3 car lengths on them and they look like I just shot their dog. Oh and the next person I meet who says doging mustangs is like doging the 7 because Ford owns Mazda is getting bitch slapped. Ford didn't own a controlling intrest at the time they were designed and they didn't want rotaries to continue to be produced when they did buy in. Mazda execs had to beg and plead to get them to go for the RX8. Ford execs only know how to sell cheap, semi-reliable, oversized vehicles. But they do sell and sell well (good for them). But just because 5 million (or whatever they actually sell each year) people buy their cars does not make them great cars.

OMFG, I just spent over half an hour of my time reading from that thread. Judging from what I read, the average maturity level of Mustang owners is shy of elementary school children. Most of the Mustang owner comments disgusted me.

Devus1,Super Stallion stated in the Stangnet Forums

I also dont see any imports doing NASCAR or anything like that. If those cars are so ****ing great why isnt anyone racing with them?
NASCAR????????
I couldn't stop laughing after reading this.

This reflects the mentality of the Rustang crowd.

He said hes going to check the get this..."ICP", I think he meant IP, LOL because he believes its me. He also believes that the Rx7 gets 30 MPG and cost low on insurance.

NASCAR, give me a break. Imports race with more than 4 turns and actually use the steering wheel. Our cars were made to take left and RIGHT turns!

Why aren't there any Stangs or Fbodys in the WRC???

I'm not even going to waste my time reading that thread as most of the info is right here. I think MilleniumGT is very biased anyway as is looking for someone on here to basically say that RX7s don't equal Mustangs stock. 9 out of 10 times a 93-95 RX7 will beat a 99+ GT in every acceleration contest there is. The numbers don't lie. The slowest time I've seen for a RX7 is 14.0 where the fastest time I've seen for a new GT is 14.0 - it might be close but the RX7 will always have an advantage. He's never driven a RX7 either. After driving one he's change his thinking. Mustangs are nice cars and there is no substitue for their exhaust note. But to call an RX7 rice is downright rude. I can understand all the Civics running around but Supras and RX7s are kings of the import world and can't be considered rice. I'll show him what a little ricer burner can do

whenever I read this stuff I always get a laugh. It seems to me that in the USA the average domestic driver knows little / nothing about imports in general let alone rotaries. Having a look on stangnet they seem to have no real idea of how far these cars can go am I right?

See the funny thing is that in OZ everyone into cars knows about imports particularly rotaries. Ever since rx-2's started showing up at major rally events in the 70's right through to the SP's dominance in production car racing people at least knew that a well sorted rotary was a real challenge.

Sorry to ramble it's just that it's wierd to see people with no idea. But then again mustangs are a real rarity here even though you can buy a Cobra R off the showroom floor, nobody seems to want one... it's all backwards!

The reason that Rx7s and other imports are not used for NECKCAR is that they can't get the "Tide" ads and the "Pepsi" ads to fit on the hood next to each other. It's all about cash not cars there you necks!! Duh .Keep watching your rolling billboards.

I do not understand the intrest in watching a **** load of the same stupid looking cars all driving in a big circle. I guess that some people are easily entertained or Hypnotized by the prettty cars that go
round & round.

Then they say that you have to go to a race to get into it. Well thats o goofy thing to say . Most of those guys are so drunk that they don't even know what the hell is going on with the race. The one sthat watch from home sit there on the couch drinking and doing zippy. Of coasre thats speculation but I can't imagine that I'm so far off wit hthe majority of NASCAR fans.

"In loving memory of some dumb neck"

Thats another thing..What is in loving memory? Your dumbass sticker? I don't focking get the whole damn thing!!!!!
