Idle RPM range

Ok, when I bought my 93 FD the idle RPM ranged 750-1000 but usually stayed pretty much right at 750. Now that I put fuel injector/system cleaner in my car the idle RPM now is 1250 flat and even. So was I just running lean before I had the fuel system cleaned out? What is normal idle speed for a bone stock RX7? I am thinking that large difference in idle range is well...large. Should I be worried?

Your idle was good before.
It should be set around 750-800.
Run up to 1000 with the A/C on.
You can adjust the set idle screw on the throttle body and get it back down.

If your car idles at all you should be happy. Technically, idle speed should be about 750. Mine was 750 before I blew my motor. On the new motor it was in the 1000-1100 rpm range until I got the Power FC, then it wouldn't idle at all. Steve Kan fixed that though, and it now idles at ~900-950 rpm.

There are so many idle problems that I'm fine with it being 200 rpm too high, because it's buttery smoooth
