Idle problems and bucking?
Idle problems and bucking?
So after reading all the archives and threads on idle problems, bucking and hunting (which mine was doing) I noticed there was something missing..... So making sure after checking my TPS, fuel pump stuff (relays, resistors and the pump itself) and having a brand new O2 sensor (so I knew that wasn't it) I was still having some random bucking under partial throttle and some idle flux issues. No vaccuum leaks cause I only have like 5 vac lines now and they're all new and zip tied, I was feverishly looking for an answer. Well after exhausting my data options I decided to go for another short drive and come back to the house. After pulling in the driveway I noticed that my fans had not turned on.
Hmmm.....
Well after some inspecting I noticed in my madness of removing the rats nest, air pump and a few other things that I had yanked the wire out of the thermoswitch on the backside of the water pump housing, which of course is a pain to get to. Regardless, wire is repaired, 7 is happy.

Good one, I mean that in a positive way.
