Idle problem with AC (Watch YouTube Video)

When I turn my AC on, it idles smoother... Wtf. Very weird to me, if you know the answer, please share. This has me scratching my head. It doesn't do it when I put other loads on the car. Only when I turn the AC on.

Here's the vid

PowerFC or stock ECU?

A lot of idle speed problems are the ISC needing to be cleaned.

Yeah clean idle valve, then adjust the idle speed according to the service manual procedure.

FINALLY got around to watching the video, you should just need to clean the ISC to fix this.

- Unbolt ISC from back of upper intake manifold, 2 10mm nuts and 1 white plug. You can many times do it without removing the UIM. If you still have the AWS it could be in the way, it's been so long since I worked on a car with AWS I can't remember.

- Get a can of carb or brake cleaner, spray the 2 ports thoroughly and get any black crud out.

- Get 2 alligator clip jumper wires and hook one to one of the electrical pins on the ISC, one to the other. Attach one to the positive terminal of the battery then "tap" the other agains the negative terminal. The ISC should pop in and out when you do this.

- Spray the inside of the ISC with WD-40 and repeat the "tapping" procedure.

- Bolt back on and test.

The ECU sends a command to the ISC to cycle it open and it's supposed to open a certain amount to set the idle speed. If the ISC gets stuck due to carbon and crap it will not open enough or too much and the idle will bounce.
