Hey everyone I am new to the board. I just bought an RX7. It has a rebuild by Pettit with about 4 thousand miles on it. Anyways, tonight I was driving it, and I was noticing some problems. First of all, If I would take off in first gear, and floor it to redline or so, and then shift to second, it would stop getting boost. If I didn't push it too much in first, then shifted to 2nd, then it would get boost. Then, all of the sudden the idle started going crazy. It was idling at 2500rpm. Then I turned off the light and it went down to 1500. Then the brake pedal became really hard. Also, I popped the hood and I noticed air blowing out of the CRV I believe. Also, one of the intake filters (From Pettit) slipped off somehow. Any help would be greatly appreciated you guys. Thanks.

There is a one way valve in the vaccum line to the booster. If it is not good it will leak both vaccum and boost. It should let vaccum to the booster but not boost. That could be part of the problem.
