Idle Air Control Motor...
Ok I have searched and searched but I still cannot find out where the hell this is located on the car. I'm wondering if this is the same part as the ISC or if it is a whole new part in all. I've just been trying to find the part number for it so I can order it from Mazda since this is the part my mechanic has told was fried due to my careless mistake. I'd just like to know the location so I can get the part number and confirm it with my mech tomorrow and make sure I get the correct part. For some reason I think he means the ISC though but either way.
My cars idle wont steady itself out and that was due to me letting the throttle cable touch the alternator while I had the battery plugged in which caused that Idle Air Control motor to fry. So hopefully a few of you new to all this will learn something from my experience.
