ID this part (pics inside)

after i put my gauges in and everything back together, i had this part laying on my floor mat on the drivers side...anyone know what it is or goes to ...or if someone could look under there dash and maybe take a pic that would be great..... thanks.....

The driver's side kick panel has a plastic pop rivet job that attaches to it. Remove the kick panel and you'll see the other one that it attaches to.
