I've literally heard my engine detonate twice with NRS 3mm one piece ceramics at 16 PSi WOT (wideband read 14 AFR when I glanced down before letting off) and my engine still runs like a champ. Both times happened due to fueling issues (wiring/fuel pressure) and has now been fixed with a complete fuel pump rewire.

It sounds like one of those sprinklers that spin in a defined radius.
