i tried to be innovative, my interior pics...

Hey guys

I wanted to share my winter work with all of you. I know not everyone will like it, i enjoy a good critic but please don’t flame, it is so frustrating when people bitch you about things you worked your a$$ for. Just say you like or don’t like it, that’s it. All comment are welcome.

Now here is my interior

Nice job man. Its kind of bright but I dont think it looks bad with the black interior. Personally I would have chose a dark gunmetal or titanium color. Polish up those door sills next and youll be money!

its very bright blue... looks clean though, what kind of paint and clearcoat did you use?

It will look really nice if you have some nice Recaro or Bride seats that are black and blue to match

here is a closer view, just try to find everything that has been worked on. Try to find the differences with your car. By the way, sorry for the shitty camera pics...

And finally, here is the last but most important part, you must ask yourself where has he put all the A/C control? Nope, they are not where you think they are, i wanted to be the first one to do something like this. I know, some won’t like it but what do you want… tell me what you think

Looks sweet man. I have a couple questions for you though. What are all those arming switches for? Also that Efini gauge in the back is that black background on silver? and last question how much did you pay for those white gauges, or white templates ?

Thanks

yeah i knew about titnatium or grey but i wanted something different. Lot of people have done this color along with red and i wanted to be different. PLus, my gauges were silver so i wanted somthing else.

the gauges are: Greddy EGT and water temp, autometer boost, AF, Oil temp and oil pressur ein order.

Hmmm. You did a good job molding and I like the originality with the AC controls on the headliner. Why didnt you bondo that line that goes across the shift console? I dont really did the Red flip up covers over the switches though. The ashtray looks out of place too. Are those LEDs for a radar detector? If so thats pretty sweet.

i'll be honest with you, that is an odd place for the a/c controls. i actually kinda like it though.

the paint looks very good too. what paint/clearcoat did you use? i want to try a carbon fiber look myself.

last question: how long did it take you from project start to project finish?

congrats on the finished product.

the leds are for my anti theft system, i just though it would be better than just a little led flashing alone. It does the Kit's car pattern... pretty cool.

i left the line there because... i don't know... just decided to let it this way.

For the ashtray, i wasn't sure if i would paint it or not. Shoud I have?

as of the paint, it is the only part i didn't do, i left it to a pro, that's what makes it look good or not.

It is a simple paint, shot with a gun and two clear coats on it.

Yes...... I say either paint it or get rid of it. Check out mine.

Not perfect........ but it was my frist time working with this stuff. If I did it all over again I would definitely save myself the headache and just paint it.

How much to do mine? I love the AC idea. I also would have used silver on mine but that is all just personal preference. Congrats on all the hard work, it looks tight.

looks crazy, but nice for a showy type of car. you should consider painting the little rings and trim that goes around the vents and speaker grilles to match, it will add a nice touch.

Yo man it looks like a freaking space ship in there...its sweet. I like the color a lot...I actually saw a gauge pod like that one on your fifth speaker and I was thinking of getting it. Are all those gauges easy to connect or did you get someone to do it for you...boost gauge I know is easy. Man I didnt even know that thing was a fifth speaker...I was wondering about that the other day. I did something like that on my probe...it is a lot of work though. Since I have a 95 rx7 all that plastic stuff is snake skin texture so I would have to sand it first which is a bitch cuz thats what I had to do on my probe. It looks nice and is very gratifying after.
