I swear my 2k rpm hesitation is going to be the end of me!

Ever since I have goin non-sequential, I have had a 2k rpm hesitation. I had code 11 (air intake thermosensor) and thought that MUST have been the problem, but sure enough, I replaced it and the hesitation is still there! I added about 10 ground points - no luck.

I think I will go on a sensor changing spree until the madness ends.

did you ever not have hesitation at 2k rpm? most of us have turbos which dont spool till 2.5-3krpm and even then there is no real torque. If you want low end torque and want to beable to do burn outs at 1.5krpm, get a V8 (I **** you not!)

WTF are you talking about? I'm not complaining about no torque at 2k rpm, I'm talking about when my engine hits 2k rpm it falls on its face then continues to be perfectly smooth all the way to 8k rpm.

By the way, this only happens with very light throttle.

check your actuator that is right under the one that controls the wastegate... its right under the intake... you can see two actuators... and I believe its the bottom one... I disconected and pluged it up for the non-sequential setup.... maybe thats the problem...

The only actuator I have left is the wastegate acutator. I removed the other two when I went non-sequential.

Dude, I have same problem. Mine pretty much started happening, after taking all emission stuff out. Well, actually, i rewraped my harness, rebuilded engine, Ported, removed emission stuff, added mid-pipe. However, I noticed when mine happens my POS A/F gauge goes to lean. I think it might have something to do with removing Air pump, but i know when i add more fuel it gets worse. So when i took some off, it was there, but a lot less.

I was messing with Idle Air control valve, and that thing makes no difference plugged or not.

So, pretty much, i have no idea what the problem is, but it might be that that stupid Air control valve needs to get checked or maybe i need to get a PFC

I'm running PMS PFS now by the way.

I need to check that.

I really think it has to have something to do with the emmissions stuff that I got rid of, maybe the air pump. At what rpm does the air pump turn off?
