tsk tsk, should have sent them to me to get powdercoated.........
im not a fan of polishing things, too much work and super hard to keep looking good, now chrome powdercoat on the other hand...............im just saying

BTW.. that polished bay does look great. I'm sure it's tough to keep it that way. However, my FD probably spends more time getting pampered then actually on the road.

Mangus I stand corrected, that's pretty sharp. Didn't know the chrome looked that good. I might consider my water pump and tstat housings like that. But then I would have two different shiny surface types.

does the powder coat hold up to the heat.......................not to sound rude, but you obviously dont understand what PC is.
to powder coat things, you heat them up, apply the powder, then bake at 380 for 10 minutes, if preheated, 20 if not.

no it does not warp anything, yes its perfectly fine for housings and irons. i have done everything from valve covers, heads, blocks, name it.

and no, that was the front cover of my friends engine, there are no busted studs, but the timing indicator is missing, oh well
